Listia-Awesome Free Stuff Without The Hassel Or Scam!

I came across Listia a couple years ago and yes I'll admit it, I was skeptical. It sounded similar to Ebay, but just with a twist. You know, like something that sounds too good to be true. I ended up creating an account with Listia for free. I automatically received 1000 credits for signing up, so I was happy that they kept their promise. Listia also gives you a bunch of other opportunities to earn credits as well. Below you'll find other great ways to earn more credits.

Earn 100 Credits for connecting your Facebook account (sometimes they even throw in extra bonus credits!)

Before I decided to list any items to sell, I started browsing through the items listed to see if there was even anything worth buying. To my surprise, there were tons of different items to bid on and buy! You can find clothes, electronics, beautiful hand-made items, gift cards, rewards points, and pretty much anything else you can think of! At this point I figured, "what the heck" and decided to place a bid on an item that I ended up winning. Yes, at this point I was still somewhat skeptical. I was skeptical that is, until I actually received the item in the mail. I was really thrilled that I wasn't scammed and this is when I knew that Listia was legit.

Since I had such a great experience with buying, I figured it was time to try selling something of my own. Listia provides you with a user-friendly listing template that allows you to quickly and painlessly list the details of your items as well as photos. You can set your listing up for bidding and you decided what to start the bid at. You can also list your item as "buy it now". The shipping amount is completely up to you, so you decided if the shipping amount is included in the price, or paid by the buyer. I was really excited once people started bidding and I actually received more credits that I had hoped for! Once the buyer received their item from me, they left me awesome feedback on my profile.

There has only been one time that I did not receive an item that I bid on. In order to bid with confidence, make sure you check the buyers profile for positive feedback from other buyers. If the buyer has great feedback, then you can feel more confident that you will receive your item. In the case where you unfortunately don't receive an item you won, your credits are covered 100% with Listia Assurance. In this case, I was able to get a 100% refund on my credits. What's Covered?

Buyers will get a FULL refund if:

• an item won on Listia is not received or significantly not as described in the listing

• a seller changes the listing terms (as outlined in the description) after it ends, and the buyer disagrees

• a seller claims to have not received payment for shipping, and the buyer has proof the funds were transferred through a Listia Assurance protected payment method

Sellers can KEEP ALL credits if:

• a winner does not pay shipping, is non-responsive, or otherwise experiences buyer's remorse

• a winner claims they did not receive an item, but the seller has provided a valid tracking number indicating the item was delivered to the winner's verified address

So How Do I Get My Refund?

• Contact the seller or buyer if you have an issue and try to resolve it.

• If that doesn't work, just file a dispute from your listing page.

• Listia works with both parties and makes a decision based on the guidelines stated above
