If you haven't heard, Tumblr's doing some really great! Tumblr's created a campaign called Post it Forward. At the top of the Post it Forward's dedicated page it states " We're all in this together. The story of your life can change someone else's. What a wonderful supportive message!

What is Post it Forward?

The purpose of Tumblr's Post it Forward campaign is to reverse the negative stigmas surrounding mental health via community sharing, speaking out and making our voices heard. Tumblr hopes to reinforce exactly what Tumblr user's have been doing from the very start: creating strength through community openness, good will, facing & supporting problems that people face nowadays.

Tumblr wanted to create awareness for people struggling with loneliness and who are unaware of communities such as Tumblr that contain caring people that are literally a click away.

In order to raise awareness about mental health, Tumblr has created a means for people to share their stories and positive messages in hopes to providing a beneficial support tool for people that may not have access to this kind of support.

How You Can Participate In Post it Forward

Post it Forward is available to anyone who would like to reach out to others to let them know they don't have to suffer or struggle alone. By sharing your story and positive message which helped you overcome a rough period in your life. This is a campaign that I really hope to see many others participate in to help spread this positive message. You never know who may be needing to hear your specific story. Even if you your message/story helps just one individual, that's still significant.
