Cricut: A Mom's Best Friend!

Owning a Cricut machine offers opportunities to create adorable, fun creations that will keep your kids content, exploring, & learning. With just a little imagination and creativity and a Cricut machine by your side, you can turn a dull summer into one to remember! Kids love to use their imaginations to play pretend and what's more fun than pretend play food? In no time at all, you can create an endless amount of different play foods for your kids. Your kids can set up a supermarket, restaurant, picnic, and petting zoo just to name a few. Below I've listed a few ways to create pretend play food. Materials Needed:

  • Cricut Explore® machine

  • Cricut Preserves Cartridge Set

  • Cricut Design Spaceâ„¢ software

  • 12" x 12" Strong Grip Cricut® mat

  • Assorted 100% wool felt

  • Sewing Machine

  • Hot glue gun

  • Pillow filling








Instructions:

  1. Cut

Cut felt fruit shapes

  1. Assemble

Sew shapes together and fill with pillow filling. Use hot glue gun to adhere leaves and stems. If you cannot sew, just use hot glue to put the shapes together (just make sure that the hot glue is completely dry before filling.)
