When it comes to children's toy, nothing is better and more beneficial than a versatile toy that doesn't require a ton of batteries and is brought to life through your child's imagination, rather than with a bunch of sounds and blinking lights.

Dream Frenz are incredibly adorable character toy pillows with BIG round heads and tiny soft bodies that can be easily tucked away inside the pillow. They are versatile in that they can be used as a pillow, a toy, and anything else that your little one can imagine!

I was contacted by the Dream Frenz company asking if I would be interested in receiving one of these adorable pillow toys, the very first thing I did was go to their website to find out more about the company. I was greatly impressed and found the story behind how these cheerful, smiling pillow toys were brought to life very heart warming and inspirational from the point of view as a mother myself. Dream Frenz was imagined, designed, created AND tested by a family of three young creative sisters and their awesome, supportive mother. The eldest daughter loved drawing characters with big round heads and tiny bodies. These drawings sparked the concept for Dream Frenz and her mom decided to produce a round decorative pillow which matched the characters from her daughters imagination! How cool is that!? The middle sister who was taking sewing lessons at the time, sewed and constructed the original Dream Frenz prototypes with the help of her talented instructor. The youngest sister helped by playing, testing and approving Dream Frenz.

And if this wonderful, inspiring story behind the creation of this product wasn't enough, Dream Frenz is also wholeheartedly devoted to supporting institutions and charities benefiting children. Each and every year, Dream Frenz are donated to benefit children who face adversity, whether it be due to health, economic, and or otherwise. Each and every single purchase of Dream Frenz helps and support these children.

I was so excited and couldn't wait to receive out Dream Frenz so I could present it to my son. I assumed that I probably would not see the product for at least a week after I agreed to accepting the product. To my surprise, our Dream Frenz pillow toy was sitting on our front porch, nicely packed within two days!! My 3-year-old son was super excited to have received a special surprise gift in the mail and couldn't wait to open the box to discover what was inside. When we opened the box to reveal what was inside, my son's eyes were sparkling with wonder and he had the biggest and smile on his adorable face! He grabbed up his new friend, PJ the Pirate and welcomed his new toy to the family with a huge hug and a kiss.

I wanted to let my son explore PJ the Pirate himself without my assistance, to see if he figured out that the pillow toy contained a tiny soft pull-out body. In no time at all he was showing me that the pillow had a body. The body is attached to the inside of the head with a strong, short piece of elastic. My son made sure to name all the bright, beautiful colors that constructed PJ the Pirate, while touching the embroidered yellow polka-dots and face. He also observed that the backside of PJ the Pirate looked like a candy cane. Each Dream Frenz has a coordinating quilted pattern or solid color with diamond stitching, which can be turned around and used as a decorative pillow as well.

There are several adorable characters to choose from in the Dream Frenz line, including:

Marlin the Moon (glows-in-the-dark)

Shimmer the Star (glows-in-the-dark)

Other reasons why we love this product: Each pillow is just the perfect size for little ones to rest and nap on. They are also just the right size, so your child can easily carry them with where ever they go. *Each pillow measures approximately 12 inches in circumference. Dream Frenz are surface washable and of course comply to toy safety regulations. Dream Frenz are recommended for ages 3 and up.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his new friend PJ the Pirate. PJ tags along on car rides, playing outside, watching TV, nap time and bed time, just to name a few! I am truly impressed with the quality of this product and the joy that it brings to my son. It has also helped eliminate the need of lugging around a pillow and tons of stuffed animals in the car and around my house (BIG PLUS lol!!)

After having the awesome opportunity to experience a Dream Frenz pillow toy, I already have them on my holiday list for my friends little ones and of course my son. It is also deeply satisfying to know that my purschases will also be helping children in need. You can purchase Dream Frenz on their official website www.DreamFrenz.com or www.Walmart.com.
